Editing Translations

Once you are in the Translations page, you will be able to:

  • Create new translation keys and set their value in English and Irish.
  • Update existing translations keys values.
  • Delete translation keys if they are no longer in use.

Adding new translation keys​

To add a new translation key, fill in the namespace and key input fields and click on the "ADD NEW" button. This will create a new key withing the namespace provided. By default, that key will have no English or Irish values. The person adding the key should add an English value after creating the key so it can be translated into irish by the lab.

Updating existing translation keys​

To update the value of an existing translation key, navigate to the key and make the desired changes. Once you've made the changes, click the "Update" button to save your changes. Once you save the changes the background of your key should light up in green to notify that all values have been filled for this key.

Deleting translation keys​

To delete a translation key, navigate to the key and click on the "Delete" button. You will be asked to confirm the deletion. Be careful when deleting keys, as this action cannot be undone.
